Food trailers for Texas and the states around it

We build every trailer at our shop at 2020 S IH 35 Service Rd in Belton, in the middle of the Austin to Dallas corridor. Most customers tow theirs home the day they pick it up. Plenty of others have had one delivered to a driveway, a commissary lot, or a festival ground several states away.

Where you plan to operate matters to us before the build starts, not after. Health and fire requirements are set county by county, and the venthood, sinks, water package, and fire suppression all get specced to the jurisdiction you name. A trailer built to pass in Bell County is not automatically a trailer that passes in Harris County. Tell us the county when you request a quote and we build to it.

Not on the list? Ask. The trailer doesn't care how far it rolls.

We have put trailers on the road well beyond the state line, including a 40 FT gooseneck smoker for the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana. If you are out of state, send us the build form or call and we will quote the haul along with the trailer.

Getting it home

How delivery actually works

Pick it up yourself. Most customers do. Bring a truck rated for the weight and a 2 5/16" hitch, and we walk you through the whole trailer before you pull off the lot: propane, breakers, water, hood, all of it. Budget a couple of hours. You leave knowing how your own equipment works.

Or we arrange the haul. Cost depends on distance and the size of the unit, so we do not publish a rate. Tell us where it is going and we quote it with the build. A 12 FT snow cone trailer to Austin and a 40 FT gooseneck to another state are not the same job.

Sort your permits before you plan the trip. Most counties want a mobile food unit permit, a fire inspection of the hood and suppression system, and in a lot of places a commissary agreement for water, waste, and overnight parking. We build to pass; the paperwork is yours to file. Our guide to starting a food truck business in Texas walks through the sequence.

Tell us where you'll be cooking

Give us the county and we'll build to pass inspection there, then get the trailer to you.
